pfSense Plus Software Version 23.05 Release Candidate Now Available

Check the default route is present in Diag > Routes in that situation. It should not be removed though.
-
@stephenw10
If I switch back to automatic internet still works. Also the default gateway is correct. Shall I test again with deleting a gateway? -
If you delete the gateway that is the current default that would remove the default route.

All 5 RCs have been super fast to install - just wondering what the daily changes have been...

Check the redmines that were closed on or about the days of the RCs.

I thought that was just for pfSense CE. Awesome, thanks!

I'm on 23.01 with a 6100 Max. I can't past "Another instance of pfSense-upgrade is running. Try again later" when trying the RC.
I recall a thread on this a few days ago, but I can't find it.
Any suggestions Netgate?
-
Probably stuck on an older pfSense-upgrade version.
Let me reply in your other thread. This one is supposed to be for announcements. -
Looks like the release version it out!
-
The version was renamed in preparation for a release but it has not actually happened yet.
There will be an announcement when it does.Steve

That explains the upgrade time of only about 60 seconds. Of course, I’ve been installing each 23.05 release candidate and they’ve all been super fast.

How do I get back on the newest RC?
-
I guess I installed what I thought was the release version a little too soon...
-
How can I get back on the regular RC train? I have missed the last two builds because my firewall thinks I'm running a newer version. Thanks.
-
There have been no changes except for the build number, so it doesn't matter at this point.
If the current build tests OK then it will be the release, and what you have would be the same (except for the exact build time).
-
@jimp Thanks, Pingle! Bring back your YouTube hangouts!

This means if the real release will be out it will be then corrected or correct placed?

The release was, as you can tell, a little premature and mislabeled. We are still testing a few minutes in regards to it and hope to have it out soon.

Will it not turn out that those who updated prematurely will still have the final version with errors. and will there be any problems with the update in the future.
