    If using auto-partion entire disk it works..
    When you look at what it's about to do it shows the ZFS partiton as no mountpoint (blank).

    If I try to manually create a partition layout (expert mode).
    Partition Schem is: GPT
    p1 = efi
    p2 = freebsd-swap
    p3 = freebsd-zfs

    If I leave the mountpoint for zfs blan (as seen in auto zfs install mode) when you click commit
    It errors with: "No root partition was found. The root FreeBSD partition must have a mountpoint of '/'.
    (sure- agreed).

    If I do the same but specify / as mountpoint for zfs partition it it gives warning:
    "This filesystem (freebsd-zfs) is not bootable on this system. Are you sure you want to proceed?"

    After Click YES-

    "Partitioning error
    An installation step has been aborted. Would you like to restart the installation or exit the installer?"

    If I do same steps as above but use freebsd-ufs instead of zfs, it works and lets me do it.

    I feel more like I do now.
