The NUT package connects to the UPS and the Home Screen widget populates nicely. After some period of time (not sure what it is, but it was <48 hours after a reboot this most recent time) it loses connection. The system logs show "Poll UPS [CyberPower1500AVR] failed - Driver not connected" and a "Connection Refused" error too. If I merely hit "Save" on the Services / UPS / Settings screen, the connection is reestablished. Any ideas?
I'm on pfSense+ 23.01 (amd64) with the latest system patches and packages.

@mtk67 In UPS settings, add:
This is a known issue, you can read more about it here:

@mcury Thank you very much for your help. That was quite the long thread and the solution was buried in there. I've added the line and will keep an eye on it. Seems like this did the trick for others, so keeping my fingers crossed. Thanks again.

@mcury that workaround definitely improved the situation for me, but it did not resolve it. Upon logging in to the console today it said the UPS was once again not connected. I also noticed that 23.05 is out today so I'll check out the release notes to see if it mentions anything about a fix, though I suspect that would have to come in the NUT package and not the core OS.

@mtk67 Try these settings:
DEADTIME should be a multiple of POLLFREQ and POLLFREQALERT. Otherwise, you’ll have "dead" UPSes simply because upsmon isn’t polling them quickly enough. Rule of thumb: take the larger of the two POLLFREQ values, and multiply by 3.*
MAXAGE: upsd usually allows a driver to stop responding for up to 15 seconds before declaring the data "stale". If your driver takes a very long time to process updates but is otherwise operational, you can use MAXAGE to make upsd wait longer.

I have the CyberPower 1100va AVR...didn't had any issues. Thank you all for sharing the advance setting, mine is done.
