I have a multiwan configuration but wanted to know would it be possible to have dpinger or another function perform path monitoring among multiple destinations behind a gateway. If any one of those destinations are not reachable or there is degradation, then to failover to another gateway.

Im using this set up at my primary job where the Palos are able to path monitor multiple destinations and perform gateway failover if at least one of the sites are not reachable. I see one of my side gig clients may have a need for this functionality but i dont think its supported on pfsense. Can anyone confirm?

    Do see an ancient redmine.

In theory then pfsense should be able to handle this type of failover with dpinger remaning just a packetloss and latency monitor application. It exists today with pfsense able to failover once a threshold is reached. Im just asking for pfsense to take into account multiple destinations and not just one.
