Does the OpenVPN client used by pfsense use SAML?
SAML support would be a huge win in the enterprise im bidding for.
The OpenVPN Access Server does have support for it.

      edit:
I want to provide a bit more context. One org has merged with another. The need is to have the multiple systems owned and operated by the main org (the mothership i call it) use the same authentication throughout - So if your desktop AD account is johndoe123 then that account, if permission, can log into various internal applications for monitoring and log into VPN(GlobalProtect or OpenVPN along with 2FA provided by MSFT Authenticator). Its seamless SSO...

OpenVPN AS is not the same as OpenVPN. OpenVPN AS is their commercial product, not the open source server/client that is found in pfSense software and others.

That is OpenVPN "community" and it does not support SAML as far as I'm aware.
