Connecting a Netgate 4100 with a Ubiquiti Dream Machine
-
I just purchased a Netgate 4100. This is my first time using PFSense. I'm looking for information on how to connect my 4100 to my Ubiquiti Dream Machine. My only reason for purchasing the Dream Machine was to use it for my security camera's and as a controller for my other Unifi hardware. Has anyone here connected a Netgate to a Dream Machine before? I'm looking for help on how to connect them correctly if anyone has done this before. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@mvitello Plug in the ... ethernet cable?
After that you need VLANs configured -- if you're using them... Not sure what else you are asking about. -
@rcoleman-netgate Thanks. What I'm referring to is how they communicate. I have shut off DHCP and turned the firewall off on the Dream Machine since it's also a router and firewall. However, I'm unable to get out to the internet. I have LAN1 on the Netgate plugged into port 1 on the Dream Machine. I have LAN2 on the Netgate connected directly to the WAN port on the Dream Machine. Both LAN ports are on a different network but I still get reach the internet.
