A few weeks ago I installed a registration key and attempted an upgrade from CE 2.6.0 to whatever the latest plus version was at the time. I can't fully remember what happened, but after the router reloaded I was still on 2.6.0 and I left it at that.

Today I have attempted again. At first, it was showing 2.6.0 as the latest version, even under the Plus Upgrade branch. I switched to the CE branch, then back and it was unable to fetch the latest version. I reloaded, switched to the CE branch, tried a CLI upgrade, then switched back to the Plus Upgrade branch and finally it was showing the option to upgrade to 23.01. I tried this in the GUI and it hung after a few mins (same issue as below). After a good while, I tried in the CLI and the same thing happened. This is as far as the upgrade will get:

It seems to hang on the kernel upgrade. I left it an hour and it didn't change. The router is working now still on 2.6.0.

I also get the following with 'pkg-static update -f'

Any ideas what I can do with this?

@Dobby_ it’s a custom build. A Supermicro A2SDI-4C-HLN4F-O which has CPU and NICs built in, 4GB of RAM and an SSD

            2.6 zfs copy plus token in > 23.01 > 23.05
and then pkgs and config backup reinstall

If you are able to realize you could try out
to wipe the entire SSD and then reinstall
            fresh.

@Dobby_ so you are recommending to do a fresh 2.6 ZFS install, then go to 23.01, then 23.05?
