Netgate 6100 cpu2 higher temperature than the rest of the cores
-
Any reason why a CPU core runs a bit hotter than the rest of the cores? This is something that I've noticed ever since I moved to 23.05-RC (and no RELEASE). Previously all cores were using the same average temperatures.

Well it's not worryingly higher. It's probably a measurement error rather than an actually difference. All the cores are in the same package using the same heatsink.
Curious it didn't show that in 23.01?Steve

I have a larger split on my 6100 and does not concern me - albeit mine runs quite a bit hotter.

For you it's the other way around, you have one core that's constantly cooler than the rest.
Anyway, it's not that critical for me, I just thought it was a strange behaviour seeing that there are all cores in the same package.
And the temps are lower for me because I have a huge 140mm fan that's set at a very low rpm, just moving a bit of air around the box. It brought my temps down ~20C.
