      So has anyone been able to get this to work with the current AT&T gateways that have the built-in ONT?

        ive been wondering if this is possible with an XG-7100U because to way the ports are lagged together.

          Not using the Eth ports since the on-board switch would strip the required outbound tags.

              You might be able to use the ix0/1 SFP ports with an appropriate module. Otherwise using an expansion card.
