      Hello,

I need a replacement power supply for SG-5100, I thought it would be easy to find, but no.
Indeed, on the device label I can read :

12v 5a (very common), 5.5mm/2.5mm barrel jack (very common) but "center negative" (can't find it) !!

I can't find powers supplies with "center negative", obviously the standard is "center positive",
event other Netgate routers are also "center positive".

Why is the SG-5100 "center negative" ???

Any suggestion ? other then solder a new outlet with reversed polarity

      Thanks for any help

      Phil

It isn't center negative. Some 5100s were incorrectly labelled that way but if you check the supplied PSU you will find it's center positive.
