    Saving and Restoring a specific configuration?

      Wow, I am impressed with the capabilities of pfsense. If we wanted to roll this out to several hosts, is there a way to save a configuration and deploy that to other hosts for simplifying the installation process? Are there any API's available that could be used with scripts to do the same?

        @stschwartz Diagnostics/Backup, then restore the same way.

        Pre-2.7.2/23.09: Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
        When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to restart, or more depending on packages and device speed.

          If you do that I recommend unchecking Backup SSH keys when you backup the config so you don't end up with the same keys on all hosts. That also affects the auto-config-backup key which you would want to be unique.
