      Hello everyone,

I have got a colt "lan 2 lan connection" between 2 offices (Paris, Barcelona) in which I use one of the 10G wan interfaces for that.

So I am trying to understand how to route the flow from LAN interfaces to use colt when we want to communicate between the offices could please help me with that?

Thanks a lot in advance for your help.

      Thanks,

Didn't Colt tell you how to do this?
What did you get from them?

@ibnkamala without knowing the details, this is in general how you would route traffic between to locations that have a dedicated connection between them.

          transit.jpg

In Paris you would create a gateway to the 172.16.0.2 address
On Barcelona you would create a gateway to 172.16.0.1

Paris you would create a route for 192.168.2/24 to 172.16.0.2
Barcelona create a route for 192.168.1./24 to 172.16.0.1

Then firewall rules on the 172.16.0.x interfaces to allow the traffic you want to flow across this transit network.

@johnpoz thanks a lot for your help,
Well colt did not give any details however from your great schema I think all what I am missing is to set the IP addresses for the Lan 2 Lan network.

Then we should be ok for the rest, Ill keep you posted.

Again thanks a lot for your help.
