2.7 CE No Internet Access

Hi... If I posted in the wrong forum I apologize. I'm a home user and installed Pfsense CE 2.6.0 about 6 months ago on my own hardware along with the following packages... backup, cron, pfBlockerNG, service watchdog, snort and suricata. I also configured an OpenVPN client to connect my home network to Surfshark VPN. It was working correctly until yesterday when I noticed that my network connectivity was no longer working. When I logged on to Pfsense I immediately noticed a number of issues on the dashboard. 1) The Surfshark VPN interface was DOWN (red arrow) 2) The WAN interface was UP (green arrow) but showing an IP address of 0.0.0.0 3) The dpinger service (Gateway Monitoring Daemon) was STOPPED (red X) and wouldn't restart manually. In reviewing various logs, I discovered that there were multiple entries in OpenVPN for error code 13 - write UDP4: permission denied and multiple connection error 65 entries in DHCP. I managed to get internet access again only after performing hard resets of my ISPs fiber gateway, my Pfsense router and my wireless access point. After the reset, Pfsense was now again showing an IP address on the WAN interface and I was able to successfully restart the dpinger service. The Surfshark interface still was unconnected and showing a DOWN status. After hours of troubleshooting the OpenVPN configuration (trying different servers and connection protocols) and not being able to bring the interface UP, I contacted support at Surfshark and described the problem. They suggested that I upgrade Pfsense to the latest version (2.7.0) as they suspected version 2.6.0 was causing the OpenVPN connection problem. I performed the upgrade successfully and rebooted Pfsense and my ISP gateway however now none of my network devices can access the internet. All 3 network interfaces WAN, LAN and Surfshark are green (UP) and appear to be functioning properly via packet capture. All existing packages in version 2.6 transferred over to 2.7.
Can someone please help me diagnose why I can't get internet access?

I've got what seems to be the same issue.
I've had 2.6.0 for some time with no issues.
I did a clean install of 2.7.0 on a second PC and imported the config. I had trouble getting it to connect and then it suddenly did. It's been working OK for a week through a few reboots but it has suddenly stopped connecting again. Tried several reboots but still wouldn't connect.
Gone back to the old 2.6.0 PC and connected straight away.
Please do post if you find a solution to this issue.D.
