WAN failover states not killed when primary returns to service.

After my primary link returns to service, all the "established" connections still use the (very slow) backup link.
Some of these connection are long-lived and are performance sensitive
Since the backup link is just that, states should be killed so the connections can be reestablished via the primary link.
What am I missing here?
