Fairly new to pfSense but not to networking.
I for the life-of-me I cannot find packages to install. It shows what packages are installed, but there is no way to see what is available.
Reading other instructions on workaround, if I go into the shell there are no executables called: pkg, pfSense-upgrade (or pfSense anything)
I can check for upgrade under Status. It returns
***GOT REQUEST TO CHECK FOR UPDATES*** Currently running OPNsense 23.1.11 at Fri Jul 21 12:58:12 PDT 2023 Fetching changelog information, please wait... done Updating OPNsense repository catalogue... @OniNiKanabo Easy - you are running OPNsense and are posting for answers on the pfSense forum. OPNsense and pfSense is NOT the same product :-)

You called it - your on the wrong forum for starters.. Do you not know the difference between pf and opn??

You guys nailed it! lol
I was on the fence forever on which one to install... Last minute I decided to install OPN.. I guess my brain never made the switch.
Configuring everything was super intuitive so this was the first time I had to look for help.. hahaha
Lol.... I am truly an idiot.
Thanks all! :)
