Netgate SG-2220 disk usage at 84%
-
The only packages installed are
- acme
- list itemopenvpn-client-export
It looks like the most space is taken up in /usr/local
Is it possible this amount of disk usage is due to the many system upgrades?
Would it be best to restore factory image and start over?
-
@markeby if you have ZFS delete old boot environments.
https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/troubleshooting/filesystem-shrink.htmlOr run
du -h /usr/local
to see what’s in that directory. -
@SteveITS zfs is not the default installed by netgate. It is ufs.
-
@markeby it’s been the default since 22.01 but needs a reinstall otherwise the router stayed on UFS. “If”
Did you find what was using the space?
-
@SteveITS I haven't seen a netgate image to reinstall except for the one I did a few years back and that is UFS as well.
-
@markeby You have to request it.

ZFS isn’t going to solve a disk space (usually logging) issue, I was saying if you had ZFS check that. The command will list usage for that entire directory tree.
