      Not sure if our issue is the same as this one, but we are getting this error now.
      It seems to only be affecting the latest version of OpenVPN Connect 3.4.0.

      Earlier versions are fine.

      Does anyone know why this is happening in the new version?

        Without more details it is impossible to say with certainty.

        One thing to look out for is recent client versions may be built using OpenSSL 3.0 which deprecates support for some older algorithms and hashes.

        If your CA and/or server certificate uses SHA1, for example, a newer client version may reject it because of its weak security, as OpenSSL 3.0 no longer supports SHA1 by default.
