Notifications only for some gateways possible?

I have two internet connections and several VPN-clients. I want to get notifications only for the "real" internet connections. Is there any way to achieve that, maybe by not using email but those other "apps" (slack etc.) in the settings?

You might be able to disable the gateway action on VPN gateways. That wouldn't be possible if you have them in gateway groups though.

Mmm, unfortunately there isn't really any other options there. There are a lot of cases where more fine grained notification control would be useful. There's probably already a feature request open but if not you can add one: https://redmine.pfsense.org/
