      Good morning folks,

      Until pfsense 2.7 got release is known that all PPPoE was handled with just one CPU core, did with the updade of FreeBSB and pfsense, now all PPPoE is handled by multithreading?

      I searched the documentation and here on the forum, didnt found any releated comment!

        Nothing changed with the single-core PPPoE issue. There seems to be zero work going on within FreeBSD to resolve this, even with high-bandwidth PPPoE becoming more commonplace.

          There is no change in 2.7. RSS still does not support it so it cannot be used by multiple queues and hence threads/cores.

          Yup, the fix for this is non-trivial!
