      Hello,

      I am working through an issue with my ISP. As part of the troubleshooting, we are going to try a static IP to see if that resolves the issue I am having (latency problems).

      This ISP is a WISP (Wireless Internet Provider), and I have either a ubiquiti or cambium antenna on my roof (they own it) which connects to my ISP. Normally we run in DHCP. They provided me with a static IP to try. So I started by going to Interfaces - WAN, and changing from DHCP to Static IPv4. I then put in the ip they gave me (132.147.142.250), I then click add a new gateway and enter the new gateway (132.147.142.1) and click save. I have tried both /24 and /32.

      I then go to System - Routing, and I disable my other gateways (I normally have 3 others active that I use, one of which is the DHCP for this ISP) and leave the new gateway I added enabled.

      I get no internet from this. I have recycled the power to the antenna on my roof as well. As soon as I go back to DHCP for this provider everything works.

      Am I missing something or could it be a configuration issue on the ISP side?

      Here is all I was provided by the ISP;

      Static IP: 132.147.142.250
      Subnet: 255.255.255.0
      Gateway: 132.147.142.1

        This is solved, there was an issue on the WISP side, I also needed to run it as a /24.
