Struggling to update to 23.05.1

Re: Upgrading from 23.01 to 23.05 Certificate verification failed

Upgraded from 22->23.01 and trying to update to 23.05.1. GUI throws "Another instance of pfSense-upgrade is running. Try again later"

I've tried changing the branch to 23.01 and back to 23.05.1. Same error.

I've tried "pkg-static clean -ay; pkg-static install -fy pkg pfSense-repo pfSense-upgrade" and then option 13 which leaves me with:

pfSense-repoc-static: invalid signature
failed to read the repo data.
failed to update the repository settings!!!
failed to update the repository settings!!!
Netgate pfSense Plus - Netgate Device ID: ID#HERE

At my wit's end on trying to fix this. Any ideas?

@tom-28 My issue was resolved by moving the SolarFlare NIC drivers from /conf/config.xml to /boot/loader.conf.local

"sfxge_load="YES"

Default file permissions are fine.

Reboot, get a new activation token and everything worked.
