Reinstall pfsense+

I have a Netgate 3100 with pfsense+ installed. Since a few weeks back I have problem with the gateways, I can't access the Internet. I followed all the troubleshooting guides and can't solve it and will try to reinstall pfsense+. Is there a way to reinstall pfsense+ directly or do I have to install pfsense and then upgrade?
