        That base rate is likely passed by the BIOS, make sure it's up to date.

        That CPU probably supports Speedshift and that is new in 2.7 and enabled by default. You might need to set some different config values:

            Yup, exactly as shown in those threads. You might need to add some other epp values or disable Speedshift for your CPU.
