VLAN interface not obtaining a DHCP address
-
Netgate 7100 23.05.1-RELEASE
We are attempting to add a second WAN, on switch port 3, using DHCP to obtain an IP address. Unfortunately, we our new Interface does not obtain an address nor does it ping a device on the same subnet when a static IP is assigned. I have verified the DHCP server, deleted and recreated the VLAN and the VLAN interface, and tested the new Interface with a static IP. Any help to troubleshoot is greatly appreciated. We have assigned:
Interfaces/VLANs
Interfaces/Interface Assignments
Interfaces/Switch/VLANs
Interfaces/Switch/PORTs (Port VID)
Interfaces/ Backup VLAN assigned switch port -
I fixed this issue by adding switch ports 9 and 10 to the vlan.

@jecker glad you got whatever your issue was sorted. But you did not provide any info that would of allowed anyone to help you.
Would of need to actually see for example your switch config on the 7100.. But yeah if you add a new vlan, that vlan would have to be added to the 9 and 10 ports which are uplinks to the soc..
