        How is it configured?

What happens when you try to connect from Android or iOS?

Do they get a DHCP lease as expected?

        Steve

No, of course not. Maybe you won't like this asnwer, so please see the humor here : "dono what you did wrong". 😊

So, tell us what you did, we'll tell you what to do, or better : what not to do.

And no joke here : I really thought the captive portal only actually works well with iPads and iPhones, I've less experiences with other devices.
I'm using it right now, as many other "computer illiterate users" of my captive portal : my hotel clients.
Have a look at this forum :

The answer is most probably already there.
Start at the top : Captive portal Help

For a "captive portal doesn't work", issue, the most famous solution is : "DNS has to work - don't break it".

No "help me" PM's please. Use the forum, the community will thank you.
Edit : and where are the logs ??

Mmm, in fact it generally work better with mobile devices in my experience. Any recent version of Android or iOS can detect the redirection and prompt the user before they've even opened a browser.
