How to monitor Wifi logins, set il delay

Hello forum,
I've got a pfSense firewall all up and running... but now I have a need to monitor Wifi login attempts on my 2 Wifi AP nodes and set a fail limit with retry time delay and alert sysadmin notifications.

Can I get a little guidance about how to do this?

@Unit_1 are you using radius to auth with, how would pfsense know if something fails to auth to your wifi if your using a psk to auth to the wifi?

if your running freerad on pfsense and authing to that with wpa2 or 3 enterprise then yeah you could monitor the log for failed attempts and do some sort of alerting.

Or via captive portal perhaps.

@stephenw10 that could be failure to the captive portal - but that means they have already joined the wifi network.
