      Good afternoon, dear friends,

I have three devices, a sg1000, sg2220 and sg8600 and I have a symmetrical fiber link of one gigabyte. Now, I wanted to configure the sg1000 and the sg2220 in my network, but the first one only delivers 100 mbs symmetrical, while the second one delivers 500 mbs symmetrical. The sg8600 gives me the symmetrical giga without problems.

My question is: Why the first two devices, even though they have rj45 giga ports do not deliver the same bandwidth as the sg8600? Is there any option that allows me to improve this?

Thank you very much for your answers.

      Jorge.

The SG-1000 and SG-2220 are limited by their CPUs not the NIC link speed. You might be able to get slightly more with some tuning but neither will ever come close to an 8200(?).
