      PFSense Version: 2.7.0
Hardware: Core i3 PC (8th Gen) with 8MB ram

I am finding I get quite a lot of packet loss with the OpenVPN client going to a PIA server (London).
The really odd thing is that the amount of packet loss seem roughly proportional to the VPN buffer size.
A small buffer size (128KB) results in a packet loss of 1-4%.
A buffer size of 256KB results in a packet loss of around 5-10%.
A buffer size of 512KB results in a packet loss of around 12-18%.
PIA is set up exactly as specified by PIA website here
Can anyone shed light on why this might be as obviosuly having a small buffer size does have quite a big impact upon max speed I can get.
Is it simply that the smaller buffer size results in a slower max VPN speed and that itself results in less packet loss?
      Thanks

I could certainly image that the faster you push traffic the more is lost, though not necessarily as a percentage.

Do you see the same when connected to other servers? Is that server in London far from you, is the latency high?
