      Hi All,
I have a Netgate ALIX.2D3 setup running pfsense 1.2.3-RC1.  Would really like to add SquidGuard, but do not see that as an option under "System".  In fact, it doesn't appear that I can add any additional packages.

Is there a way to add packages to embedded systems?

Thanks to everyone that keeps this project at the very front of the pack!!

      Patrick

This link had gotten my hopes up –- http://blog.pfsense.org/?p=472 -- it speaks of package support in embedded systems.
          Thanks.

Thats for nanoBSD if you installed the nanoBSD img than you do have pkq support but is only limited to pkgs that work with nanoBSD

"Package support – packages that are suitable for an embedded platform are supported."

This is for spec packages, designed for embeded.
