Is 23.09 actually out or is it still 23.09.rc?
-
Just updated to the latest pull of 23.09 from Beta 23.09.b.20231020.0600. The drop down showed 23.09 RC. Rebooted and now the system shows the base system as 23.09. The update section shows that I'm on a newer version than available for update.

There have been some back-end oddities with releases recently but as far as I can see the 23.09.r.20231027.0151 release candidate is the latest 23.09-RC load out there.

@RobbieTT Thanks, I understand. When I updated to the latest RC this morning pfSense came backup and is now reporting that it is on 23.09 (not a RC at all). So if I am really on a RC the update system is not likely to let me move to anything prior to the formal release of 23.09.
Not a big deal as I can just restore from a previous boot environment. So just throwing this out there and looking for some guidance from Netgate whether to just stay with what I have now or do the restore.

Hmm, interesting. Are you able to send me your NDI in chat?

@stephenw10 NDI sent via chat. Thanks

This was mine this morning.

Updated.. Am I the first one ?

@mcury Mine updated fine too. I did roll back to a previous boot environment and then updated. Didn't try to just hit the update first.
Anyway, it looks like 23.09 is indeed out.

Indeed.. I'll wait for the official announcement to ask the .ISO file to have it here, just to be safe in case I need a clean install in the future.
So far, so good, no problems to report..
I'll take a look at the new DHCP options pretty soon, I'm busy right now :(

We will be enabling the repos to present it as default shortly but it should be available to anyone to select manually right now.
