      Good afternoon,

      Considering using pfsense CE on a VM for traffic isolation in a non internet connected setup. Is there an offline update method, or will it be a case of backup config, create new VM and redeploy? Just want to clarify update methodology before having it on the list of options.

      It'll be the most basic CE config. Firewall rules between zone, LDAPS requirement for management interface login, syslog to a syslog server for audit purposes.

      Alternative is a linux vm running iptables to serve the purpuse instead etc.

        It would be backup and redeploy currently. There's no easy to upgrade off-line directly. Yet.
