php limit increase

Curious but i am running a 6100 so the configured memory is 8GB.
If i raise the PHP memory limit and assume i have the headroom, will this lead to snappier performance when clicking around the GUI?
What is the main benefit from changing this from the default 512MB?

You (and most people) wouldn't notice any benefit in general from increasing that.

Where it comes into play is on certain specific pages that process a ton of data. If you hit a page in the past that ran out of memory trying to process something (e.g. state data, command output, pfBlocker lists, that sort of thing) then it could help.
