Is it possible to disable a VIP temporarily? I have a need to temporarily take one of the pfsense WAN VIP's offline and bring it online at another (non pfsense) host.
Stumbled across a Fortinet reddit that suggested disabling ARP responses on a VIP so it won't respond. Something like that possible with pfSense?

      EDIT:
It seems possible in this FreeBSD post: here

But I'm pretty reluctant to execute something like ifconfig vmx0 alias 123.123.123.120 netmask 255.255.255.255 -arp up as the DC location is about an hour drive away...
