Suricata VS Snort

Hello fellow Netgate community members,

What do you recommend for a SG2100 Snort or Suricate?

Keep in mind Snort has great AppID if you create custom text rules.

Does Suricate also have that?

I know Kibana log analysis is also an amazing feature of Suricate.

What would be the best tool for ARM processors? Snorts SO rules do not load for a ARM processor.
