      Is there a publicly available list of checksums for pfSense Plus? I'm looking for checksums for firmware as below:

      pfSense-plus-Netgate-2100-recovery-****-RELEASE-aarch64.img.gz

      I've been sent a link to the checksum via support but as the server is the same as the download source for the firmware itself it doesn't give a means to more securely verify it.

        Hmm, I'm not sure there is one. But for 23.09 that should be:

        steve@steve-NUC9i9QNX:~/Downloads$ sha256sum pfSense-plus-Netgate-2100-recovery-23.09-RELEASE-aarch64.img.gz

          Thanks @stephenw10 , that's very helpful.

          If the images or at least the checksums were gpg signed, that would be another way to give more confidence in the downloads, but that's another topic.
