      @Gemini2350 did you run “usb reset” per the note in step 6 at https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/solutions/sg-1100/reinstall-pfsense.html

      Pre-2.7.2/23.09: Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
      When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to restart, or more depending on packages and device speed.

          Looks like you have omitted some of the console output there. Do you have the full output?

              There is something missing there. It's possible the console text is being over written in the console at some point. How are you logging it.

              It should look like:

              Hit any key to stop autoboot: 0
              Marvell>> run usbrecovery
              switch to partitions #0, OK

                  @Gemini2350 said in ReInstall Fails:

                  Probing 1 block devices...not supported

                  Well that looks wrong. The first thing I would try here is using the other USB port. Then try a different USB stick.

                  There still appears to be some output missing there.

                    I've logged directly from putty in a txt file. Is there a better option?
                    I will try another usb stick and the other usb port
