I recently had an old ZBox mini pc (the one with the dreaded Reltek nics) fail in a way that it can no longer boot. There seems to be some kind of filesystem corruption such that it can't find /boot/loader.efi. When I boot into a command prompt using a pfSense USB stick, I can mount the pfsense ufs partition, but there no longer appears to even be a /boot folder (there appear to be several folders missing). Ah well, the machine is old. I am taking this as my cue to replace the hardware.

Last night I spun up pfSense CE on new hardware (with intel 2.5 Gbps nics, yea) and restored a backup file from the old machine.
Everything works fine, but I just discovered there is a cost associated with the upgrade to pfSense Plus now.

So now I'm wondering what my options are. I'd like to transfer the Plus license from old machine to new, but I don't know what the NDI is on the old hardware. Am I SOL?

Send me the NDI from the new machine in chat and I'll check it.
