      Hello,

I updated my pfSense version from 23.05.1 to 23.09.1. I am using a Netgate 6100 device.
The update seemed to go smoothly and the device rebooted. I noticed some errors in the log. Should I be worried about them?

        Edit:
I performed the update via the console. Was the update supposed to go from version 23.05.1 to 23.09, and then to 23.09.1? That option was not provided.

I also checked from the Web-GUI.

@LoGman for the second question, upgrades will skip versions except for rare circumstances, for instance 23.01 was required to proceed past it because they changed some back end things.

I wouldn’t worry about the link errors unless the recur during operation.

Pre-2.7.2/23.09: Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to restart, or more depending on packages and device speed.

No, none of those look concerning. They look like old efi variables.
