    Which update branch is correct?

      Now that 23.09.1 is out I am wondering, why in System → Update I have the previous stable version selected:

      Shouldn’t “Current Stable Version (23.09.1)” be selected and the Status not be “Up to date?”

        You mean you can not select “Current Stable Version (23.09.1)” ?
        If you can : do so.

        Btw : I do get it. Something seems off.
        But right now, selected is "Previous Stable version" and you are up to date.

        No "help me" PM's please. Use the forum, the community will thank you.
        Edit : and where are the logs ??

          See the explanation by @stephenw10 in another thread: Auto update check, checks for updates to base system + packages and sends email alerts.

            Yup, we probably need to change the wording there to make it clearer in the next version.

            From 2.7.1/23.09 the user needs to opt-in by selecting to new 'current stable' branch to upgrade.
