      Hey everyone,
i got 19% free space left on my 2100 base and wanted to trim some space before i ran out, i had a quick google and ran the blow command

      then followed the trail

and i dont know what to remove without breaking the system so if you have any guidance that would be great.
P.S. i dont have any packages installed.

@kenpachizerox Check for old Boot Environments:
        https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/backup/zfsbe/space.html
        https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/troubleshooting/filesystem-shrink.html

you can just delete old ones:
        https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/backup/zfsbe/gui.html
(like the image there it will show something absurdly small like 16K but it will free up quite a bit)

Pre-2.7.2/23.09: Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to restart, or more depending on packages and device speed.

@kenpachizerox I have a feeling it's going to sneak up on most everyone.

You could also install a new SSD with 128GBs. They have a really good deal on Amazon for them.

I have tested and used this one yesterday

There's an open bug on our internal tracker to address it. Because, yes!

@kenpachizerox Boot environments are amazing I have had to use them a couple times. Without boot environments I would have had a bad day. Again, you do need some extra space to support storage for them.
