      Hi,

I recently get a new 6100 and when i try to set it up though the console port only 3 LAN out of 4 are showing up,
Netstat/ifconfig/pciconf doesnt show the 4th interface, a factory reset doesnt help neither,

Even dmesg doesnt see this port (beside he see the other LAN and WAN ports),
So it seems i have an hardware issue here, i guess ill have to return the product.

Unless someone would advise trying something else ?

      Best regards,

@friedrichen I'd open a ticket at go.netgate.com, they can either help or handle the RMA.

        Link light?

The reset on the 6100 just reverts the configuration to default.

Pre-2.7.2/23.09: Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to restart, or more depending on packages and device speed.
