    Hi,

I have an issue with the automatic configuration backup. I no longer see any of my old backups and if I start a new one, it seems that it is not written to the server.

    I do get the information:

    Backup queued successfully.

    and in the log

/services_acb_backup.php: Beginning configuration backup to https://acb.netgate.com/save

But there is no success message in the log and nothing displayed in the list of backups.

Any idea what could be wrong here? It did work in the past...

Thanks and all the best for 2024,
    Michael

I'm also having an issue where I see "No backups could be located for this device." on my system.

I made multiple changes earlier today and with a single exception, all of them reported "/usr/local/sbin/acbupload.php: End of configuration backup to https://acb.netgate.com/save (success)."

Is this an issue currently known to Netgate? Anything I can do to force a refreshed connection/list for my device?

      Thank you!

@m0urs looks like the ACB issue which is currently being worked on. There's a patch/workaround listed in the Redmine notes here: Bug #15127

@cappie Thank you very much! After applying that patch, all backups are visible again. I wish you a Happy New Year!

                Hello!

It is worth noting that the check_dnsavailable function in system.inc that was improved/patched is also used by other subsystems in addition to acb, such as pkg and dhcp. The change may address weirdness in those areas as well.
