      I attempted to upgrade CE AMD 2.7.0 to 2.7.2 today and the upgrade failed with the following.

      pfsense install: //boot/efi/efi/boot/INS@jl1DsJ: No space left on device pkg-static: POST-INSTALL script failed failed. Failed

      It looks like I am using 5.5G of 51G so there appears to be plenty of disk space.

      I rebooted pfsense and it came up fine. The firewall reports it is on 2.7.0 but is now also reporting it is on the current version.

      If I navigate into System-->Update. I see the 2.7.2 branch and Current Base System is listed as 2.7.0 and Lastest Base System in also listed as 2.7.0.

      Any clues as to what is causing this?

      Thanks,

      J

        @blahblah try https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/releases/2-7-1.html#troubleshooting

        Pre-2.7.2/23.09: Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
        When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to restart, or more depending on packages and device speed.

          @SteveITS Thanks - I wound up finding this...https://forum.netgate.com/topic/184661/unable-to-upgrade-from-2-7-1-to-2-7-2-unmounting-boot-efi-done-failed/18 Which netted out to reinstalling 2.7.0, its configuration which I had backed up and then upgrading to 2.7.2 -which worked.

          Happy New year!
