      Just wondering….

Like ASUS probe and other surveilance software.....Could it be possible to implement this in Pfsense so Admins could monitor their hardware and possible temperature related issues???

There is very limited support for this in FreeBSD, the underlying OS.  If you search the forum you'll find a few threads on the subject.

There really isn't anything for pfsense specifically. But under the hood you know that pfsense IS freebsd. You can ssh in and install some software using pkgadd -r <package>to fetch a precompiled binary for such application.

I would start with this and see what software is available: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&source=hp&q=freebsd+hardware+monitor&cts=1255288408235&aq=f&oq=&aqi=g1

Keep in mind that it would run on freebsd but it would be up to you to configure the software and run it via ssh and not from the web UI unless you write something for it. I hope this helps give you a direction to run in. Cheers.</package>
