Embedded Lex brick



  • Hi, i want to run pfSense on this:

    http://www.lex.com.tw/product/BK3741S-00C.htm

    I used the embedded image, but i hve no serial port. So I installed boot0 instead of boot0sio, switched boot.config to "-Dh" and console="vidconsole" in /boot/loader.conf

    now kernel hangs while loading -/|\ … end  :-[

    Is it better to use another version or to compile another Kernel?
    Maybe the Intel Atom is the problem or to much geode code?
    ... who knows …  ???

    I tried pfSense-1.2.3-1g-20091013-1602-nanobsd.img.gz

    I compiled a nanoBSD with GENERIC-kernel which is working (except that it doesn't boot sometimes and sometimes I only have a 10 MBit link), so it looks as this is NOT the kind of Hardware I would recommend :-(
