    What's the point of the Pre-Shared Keys section?

      On VPN > IPSec there's a tab Pre-Shared Keys where one can create named PSKs. Great...

      ...except when typing the name into a Phase 1 entry, the tunnel won't come up, one needs to put the actual VALUE, not the NAME into the field.

      So is that a bug? I mean, why would I maintain a list of PSKs, if then I can't refer to them by name where I need them. At this point, it's simply a copy-paste source...

      Am I missing something?

        That tab primarily intended for remote access/mobile IPsec VPN types that use PSKs since those cannot be set in P1.

          @jimp OK, thanks, makes sense.

          But it might be helpful to do either of these two things:

          1. allow the use of PSKs defined there in regular IPSec configurations
          2. rename the tab to something like "Mobile Pre-Shared Keys" or something similar, that makes it clear, that these are not intended to be used for regular IPSec setups

          because otherwise, it's a bit confusing...
