Bios_crash.jpg Sorry, I wasn't sure which sub-forum to post my issue.

Anyways, I have a back-up SG1100 that I was updating to match my primary SG1100. This back-up device was working fine last week. But today, when I powered it up, it didn't complete the OS boot instead it went to an "OK" prompt. Attached is a JPEG showing the output of the serial console.

The first error that I see is ```

      Error: "sdboot" not defined.

Do I reload the OS onto the SSD? Or is there another way to debug this?

      Below is the console output:

@davidylau Sorry, I was trying to upload a jpeg of the outsole output but that doesn't seem to work. The editor said "drop-n-drag". Is there another way to attach a jpeg to this post?

@davidylau the image shows for me. There have been a few posts about 1100 and loader.lua. A reinstall is probably your fastest recovery path. https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/solutions/sg-1100/reinstall-pfsense.html, free ticket.

Am getting a bit apprehensive about updating our client with two of these.

Edit: there is a Netgate Hardware category.

Pre-2.7.2/23.09: Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to restart, or more depending on packages and device speed.

            Thanks for the quick reply.

Yeah, I had to re-edit this post several times to get the jpg to upload. Most of the time, it didn't upload and just once it did. Weird.
