I've added a Raspberry Pi Zero to my LAN and assigned it an address in the DHCP server using the same settings as I have for all other assigned static IP addresses. However, I cannot access it by the hostname:

First you can see me verifying the host name and assigned IP address. The I ping it by address and it works. Then I ping it by the system name and can't reach it. Then I use my full LAN domain and it doesn't work. The last two commands are just to show it working with another system, both without and with the full domain I use for my LAN.

This system has been online for over 12 hours and I renewed my DHCP lease on the system I'm using to check on this.

Why can I only connect to this system with the IP address?
