      Hi@all,

I use the CE version of pfSense. I am currently running version 2.7.0. Isn't the current version 2.7.2? I am not offered an update in the WebUI.

Under "Diagnostics" I have tested a ping to an external host name (not IP). Both from WAN and LAN. Both work.

I have also tested a DNS lookup on an external host name. This also works.

I have exactly this behavior on three different pfSense installations in different locations.

      What am I doing wrong?

        Try running: certctl rehash
        Then recheck.

@pixel24 Always read the release notes ;)

Pre-2.7.2/23.09: Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to restart, or more depending on packages and device speed.
