I just received a NETGATE 8200 3 days ago, and I am getting this.

ERROR: cannot open /boot/lua/loader.lua: no such file or directory.

Any ideas on what going on here?

Hmm, it never booted at all?

You should open a ticket with us if you haven't already: https://www.netgate.com/tac-support-request

That's not a hardware failure, it can be recovered from there by reinstalling. Obviously I wouldn't expect to see that at first boot. Or any normal reboot.
